Retailers have the chance to win prizes through Rio soft drinks‘ new advertising campaign for trade customers called ‘Sunshine sells’.
The campaign includes in-depot sampling opportunities and offers retailers the chance to participate in competitions.
They can win prizes including a branded chiller, PoS and free Rio stock.
It also features consumer-facing sampling activity in busy locations across the UK.
The campaign comes as Rio is a top-five fruit carbonate while the flavoured carbonate segment, which is worth £239m and is growing by 8% annually, is the third-largest soft drinks segment.
Adrian Hipkiss, marketing and international business director at Rio’s distributor Boost Drinks, said: “Summer is a key sales period for retailers of course, but when the sun is shining consumers look to spend more on soft drinks. That’s why following record breaking temperatures, we’re hoping our Sunshine Sells campaign will inspire and support our customers.”
