tyrrells packaging reduction

KP Snacks has cut packaging across its premium snack brand Tyrrells by 25%.

Rolling out this month, the packaging reduction will save 113 tonnes of plastic per year according to the supplier.

A flash on-pack highlights the reduction, saying: “We’re taking action with 25% less packaging.”

Dan Winslet, global Tyrrells marketing controller, said: “The new packaging reduction is key to the Tyrrells brand, and we are delighted to be championing not only great taste and quality but also sustainability. We know that protecting the environment is a top priority, motivating purchasing decisions and we’re glad to be supporting both shoppers and our retail partners by slashing our plastic usage.”

Currently Tyrrells has a £57m retail salves value and is growing by 3.1% annually in the UK.
