Kinder Animal Adventures gets an African wildlife update

Ferrero is bringing back its Animal Adventures range for the second year in a row, this time taking inspiration from African wildlife.

The African wildlife range will run across Kinder Surprise and Chocolate, and will include themed toys, stickers or cards. Overall, there will be 21 new toys added to the range.

The supplier is also launching a new digital platform that can be accessed by scanning QR codes on the packs. New animals to be featured include elephants, hippos and giraffes, as well as different species of primates, wild cats, and birds of prey.

Kinder showcases new campaign and global strategy

In addition, eight stickers or cards will be available in the Kinder Chocolate range.

Each promotional multipack comes with one of eight stickers (Kinder Chocolate small bars) or cards (medium bars), which provide facts and stats about the featured animal.

Levi Boorer, customer development director at Ferrero UK & Ireland, said: “Shoppers responded very positively to the Animal Adventures range last year, so we are confident that the updated line up of toys, stickers and cards, alongside the packaging and PoS materials available to retailers, will appeal to families once again.”

A range of Animal Adventures PoS materials, including pre-filled shippers and countertop units, will be available to help retailers raise awareness, with digital integration of the materials allowing shoppers to bring the toys to life in store.

The Animal Adventures licence will roll out on existing lines from September onwards, featuring on Kinder Surprise (singles and three-packs), as well as Kinder Chocolate small bars (eight- and 16-packs) and Kinder Chocolate medium bars (six-packs).
