James Hall & Co., Spar‘s wholesaler for the North of England, has added new food-to-go lines to its range, including new sandwich, wrap and quiche flavours.

New sandwich varieties include Chicken Club, Honey and Mustard Chicken, Cheese and Carrot Chutney and Seafood Cocktail.

There are also three new wraps: Cajun Chicken, Onion Bhaji and Tomato and Basil.

One penny from every Spar sandwich or wrap sold in northern England goes to Spar’s charity partner Marie Curie, for whom sales donations have just hit £250,000.

Elsewhere, James Hall has added Clayton Park Bakery-branded quiches in Cheese & Ham and Cheese & Onion varieties and Sausage and Cheese & Onion rolls.

Rebecca Billington, junior trading manager for fresh food to go at James Hall & Co., said: “Food to go is a huge part of our business and we refresh our offer periodically to ensure customers are seeing an evolving range in our Spar stores, and that they have something new to try.

“Our food-to-go team at James Hall & Co. has worked hard on the new range and we’re excited by the new fillings that have launched. These include some classic favourites and trending flavours not previously within the range of Spar sandwiches.”
