Olympic Games 2016

Kellogg’s has also been announced as an official Team GB partner for next year’s Olympic Games.

From April to June, it is offering five shoppers a prize worth £15,000 in an on-pack promotion running across 40g price-marked Pringles and single snacks such as Nutri-Grain, Coco Pops bars and Squares.

In July, two new themed Pringles flavours will be available.

The range of new snack bars includes Nutty Chewy Bar: Dark Chocolate and Roasted Almonds and a 5 Grain Muesli Bar: Red Apple, Peanuts and Pumpkin Seeds, RRP 69p.

The brand will give away 1.5million bars from January and back the products with a £2m marketing campaign that includes press advertising.

In addition, Kellogg’s is launching Ancient Legends, a granola and muesli range.

One granola flavour and one muesli flavour will be available in convenience, with £2.49 price-marked packs coming into the market from March.

The launch is being backed by a £7.5m marketing campaign that includes TV, outdoor and digital advertising, as well as PR and social media activity. PoS is available to retailers.
