Costa Coffee debuts on Piccadilly lights

Costa Coffee has taken a place on the famous Piccadilly lights in Piccadilly Circus, London as part of a marketing push for the brand.

The campaign will also span wider outdoor and digital advertising, and later this week, the doors will open to the ‘Costa Coffee flavour rooms’ pop-up at the old Truman Brewery in east London.

Simon Harrison, vice president of commercial development at Coca-Cola European Partners, said: “Coca-Cola has been an iconic fixture on the Piccadilly Lights for more than 60 years and there’s nowhere better for us to celebrate our new relationship with Costa Coffee.

“We’re looking to disrupt and define the ready-to-drink coffee category and continue to provide more choice for coffee lovers to enjoy, whatever the occasion.”

Costa Coffee ready-to-drink launched in the UK last month with a new range of three chilled on-the-go coffees – Black Americano, Classic Latte and Caramel Latte.
