Mondelez has launched its popular Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel bar in a new 60p price-marked pack (PMP).
In launching the new pack, the supplier cited research saying that PMPs are important for shops to offer increased perceptions of value and convenience to their shoppers.
More than a third of all bars in independent and symbol stores are Cadbury bars, and they sell at a rate of two per second.
According to Mondelez, Caramel is the best-selling Dairy Milk flavour, and can drive further sales with the PMP format.
Additionally, Cadbury Dairy Milk singles PMPs achieve a better unit rate of sale than non-PMPs.
The new bar has a weight of 45g, and is available to retailers in cases of 48.
