Concha y Toro UK has announced a redesign of its UK top-10 wine brand Isla Negra.

The redesign incorporates a reduction in bottle weight from 390g to 345g and a new label featuring a flying seagull, as well as a tasting note on the front label of each variety in the range.

Additionally, the lighter weight is highlighted with a ‘lighter weight bottle’ roundel on the label which also emphasises the bottle’s reduced carbon footprint.

Heather Jones, senior brand manager for Isla Negra in the UK, said: “After 10 years in the current design, it was definitely time for a refresh for this well-loved wine brand, and we’re really pleased with the clean and simple lines of the new label, and the opportunity to move to an even lighter weight bottle. At our current rate of sale, this will represent over 9,000 kilos of glass not produced each year.”
