Carlsberg Marston’s rebrands Shipyard American ale ahead of UK marketing push

Rebrand comes ahead of Shipyard's first-ever UK marketing campaign

Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company has announced a rebrand of its Shipyard ale range.

The rebrand features a new design which will appear across the brand’s entire range, as well as across new PoS.

It incorporates the Federal Jack sailing vessel built in Kennebunk Harbour in the home of Shipyard, Portland, Maine.

Al Cross, Shipyard brand manager, said: “The refreshed design for Shipyard launching here in the UK reflects a much bolder iconography to put our credentials front and centre, which in turn allows us to tell our story.

“Our drinkers told us that they wanted to know more about our history, our home and our beers, so we’re giving them – and new drinkers – exactly that.”

The supplier will support the rebrand with Shipyard’s first-ever UK advertising activation which will showcase the new designs.
