Parfetts has appointed Cheryl Hope as its new trading director, following the departure of Gurms Athwal earlier in April.

Hope joins Parfetts from Unitas, where she led the trading team for the past three years. She will report directly to joint managing directors Noel Robinson and Guy Swindell in her new role.

She has also held senior positions at AF Blakemore & Son, BAKO North Western, Iceland and the Co-op.
