NewstrAid has announced the return of its nationwide scavenger hunt, an interactive, team-based event set to take place across the UK on Thursday 11 September.
The event is designed to foster team cohesion and industry engagement, while also raising funds to support individuals in the newspaper and magazine trade who are experiencing hardship.
Retailers, along with publishers, wholesalers and distributors, are all expected to take part. Each team will complete a series of structured, app-based challenges within their local urban area, encouraging collaboration and creativity within a set time limit.

Neil Jagger, chief executive of NewstrAid, said: “We are really proud to be running this popular event for a second year. It is more than just a game, it’s a chance for people across the sector to come together, strengthen team bonds, and help us raise funds for the charity.
“The Scavenger Hunt offers a unique opportunity for people from the industry to get away from their desks and enjoy a bit of competitive fun whilst also directly supporting those in our trade who are facing difficult circumstances right now.”
