Lucid Direct, the newspaper and magazine category management specialist that works on NewsPro with the NFRN, has launched an improved website for retailers. 

The portal – – will enable them to access crucial data about their news and magazines offer, as well as update them on important plans and activity. 

Outlining the benefits of the site, Lucid Direct chairman Richard Lamb said: “In view of the increasing concerns over the environment, we wanted to provide our clients and their retailers with a paperless solution that keeps them updated about range plans, changes and promotional activity.

“The relaunch of our website enabled us to communicate with retailers and guide them to their own portal, which has all the information they need to maintain, manage and grow their magazine and newspaper business.”

He added that the reception from retailers had been great. “The increasing support of suppliers in providing information will hopefully mean that our portal helps support all the other communication means available to keep retailers updated on what is happening,” he said.

As well as working with the NFRN on NewsPro, Lucid works with retailers across the industry, offering ranges based on footfall and space to independents and symbol group retailers.
