The Guardian has announced that its weekly edition will now be in wrapped in fully recyclable paper.
The new packaging is available in the UK from today and will be rolled out to the rest of the world in the coming months.

In January 2019, The Guardian’s Saturday edition was the first national newspaper with biodegradable wrapping, following readers’ feedback regarding single-use plastic.
The move follows a price increase of The Guardian’s weekday editions to £2.50, effective from 5 June.
