Egmont has celebrated its Disney Princess magazine this week as it turns 21 years old.

The magazine has stayed at the top of its game for more than two decades, remaining in the top 10 children’s titles since its launch.

It has further developed recently; its last ABC figures saw sales volumes grow by almost 30% year on year, with the publication boasting 45,000 readers.

Publisher Kiran Vara said: “We are delighted to be celebrating 21 years of Disney Princess magazine, which continues to go from strength to strength.

“The children’s magazine market is highly competitive, so the continued growth of Disney Princess after 21 years of publishing clearly demonstrates its evergreen status and its enduring appeal with each new generation of readers.”

The new issue of the fortnightly magazine was released on Wednesday 30 January.
