United Wholesale Grocers launches Shopsmart symbol

United Wholesale Grocers has launched a “new and refreshed” Shopsmart fascia in Scotland and England.

The Glasgow-based wholesaler’s retail director Tom Slaven said the symbol would be “pivotal” to its plans in 2022. It adds to existing Lifestyle Express and Shop Local symbols operated by the firm.

Posting on social media, Slaven said: “We have two new sites, one at Helensburgh and the other at Newcastle in the North East of England. Another warm welcome to Atiq and Shafiq to the United family. We are really excited about the roll out in 2022.”
