Speciality wholesaler Cotswold Fayre has attributed 45% year-on-year growth to an increase in the number of retail customers.

The firm said it added 584 new customers over the last 12 months, alongside the addition of 1,340 products and 90 suppliers. It is also combining its chilled and ambient distribution facilities together in a space in Buckinghamshire, with the aim of offering chilled and ambient deliveries together in the future.

The new facility will enable Cotswold Fayre to provide more deliveries into London, as well as “quick access to the rest of the country.”

Cotswold Fayre CEO Paul Hargreaves (pictured) said: “The location, with its proximity to London will enable us to offer more deliveries into the capital, while massively consolidating into full vans, so benefiting both customers and the environment.  Its proximity to the M25 also allows quick access to the rest of the country.”
