Wholesaler JJ Foodservice is to improve its availability to retailers by doubling its range next year.
The firm announced the range would be expanded to 1,000 products at its “Successful Partnerships” conference in London this month. JJ Foodservice head of operations Kaan Hendekli also revealed the company plans to open new branches, expand its storage capacity and improve service to customers in 2022.

The company’s chief operating officer Mushtaque Ahmed added: “We want to provide the best quality products and service, and our suppliers are key to making this happen.”
The expansion comes as JJ Foodservice identified convenience as an ongrowing growth area last year, following a 10% increase in independent retail customers during the pandemic. It made products available in smaller, convenience-friendly pack formats.
