Parfetts has seen “record numbers” of retailers joining its fascias this year.

Wholesalers and shopfitting firms confirmed to Better Retailing delays in the imports and rising costs of raw materials had created a delay in store refurbishments. When asked whether Parfetts was experiencing similar issues, store development manager Craig Richardson said: “The boost in sales over the last two years for the convenience sector has prompted retailers, new and old, to invest in their stores. Parfetts is seeing record numbers of retailers joining the Go Local Extra, Go Local and The Local fascias.

“Our shopfitting teams are busy, but there is certainly no backlog due to the availability of materials. In fact, our team are completing more refits year on year and have a positive pipeline into 2022.
