News UK has renewed its distribution deal with Smiths News throughout the United Kingdom, extending the partnership until July 2024.
The contract secures revenues of £200m a year, and allows Connect Group's distribution arm Smiths News to continue delivering News UK newspapers including The Sun, The Times, and their Sunday papers.
Mark Cashmore, chief executive officer of Connect Group, said: “We are delighted to confirm this significant publisher agreement for our newspaper and magazine distribution business. The contract is good news for the supply chain as a whole and positions the Group well to secure a similar outcome with our other publisher partners.”
