A Nisa retailer in Dunstable has increased his annual sales by 5% following a refit which saw him add a hot food-to-go counter.

The 2,500sq ft shop also had fixtures and fittings replaced as part of the refurbishment, while hot food sales grew by 45% the first week after the refit.

Manager Ian Bacon said: “Customers are impressed. Many think we have extended because the store looks bigger, but it was a case of moving things around and brightening it up.”
