ME Group International is accelerating the rollout of its Revolution laundry units, with 550 net new machines installed, particularly across the UK and France, in the first half of 2025.

The group remains on track to install 1,200 net Revolution machines across its key markets during the 2025 financial year. It also reported a 14% increase in group profit before tax, alongside a 2% rise in revenue for the six months to 30 April 2025.

The growth was driven by continued strong performance in its laundry business, with revenue up approximately 3.5% year-on-year. Laundry operations saw revenue climb 13.3%, reflecting sustained demand across key markets.

However, photobooth revenue declined by 3.3%, primarily due to a technical issue with new printers, which has since been resolved. The disruption caused an estimated 2% drop in revenue during the period, for which the group received compensation.

Despite the setback, the group is on course to install 3,200 next-generation photobooths during the 2025 financial year, continuing its programme to upgrade and replace existing machines.

The company’s financial position strengthened, with net cash rising 69.1% to £36.2m as of 30 April 2025.

The board expects full-year profit before tax to be between £76m and £80m, and remains focused on its long-term strategy to grow its core laundry and photobooth operations.

ME Group International will publish its interim results for the six months to 30 April 2025 in mid-July.
