At midnight on October 26, Morrisons handed over 140 of its M Local convenience stores to the control of Mike Greene.

The takeover of Morrisons’ convenience chain marks a huge move for the independent channel and there’s a lot that retailers can learn from what the My Local founder plans to do with the group of stores.
