Kellogg’s has demonstrated its commitment to independent convenience after exclusively trialling a new product with a retailer in Manchester.

Ancoats General Store sold the Raw Fruits, Nuts & Oats Bites bar at the end of October over a five-week trial period. The store held tastings where customers could provide feedback to determine how the final product will be released.

Owner Mital Morar told RN: “Kellogg’s is realising how the market is changing. Independent retailers are gaining more share and the product was really well received by customers. They said they’re going to do similar things with us this year.”
