InPost reports strong growth as UK locker network expands

The company reported a 39% increase in parcel volumes, reaching 24 million

Parcel locker operator InPost has reported strong financial results for the quarter, with a 39% increase in parcel volumes, reaching 24 million.

Revenue rose by 145% to PLN (Polish zloty) 429.1 million, boosted by its takeover of Menzies in October 2024 and a growing shift towards locker-to-locker deliveries.

InPost’s adjusted earnings, before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) more than tripled to PLN 61.7 million, supported by enhanced operational efficiency and the full consolidation of Menzies’ results.

The company recently confirmed that, from June, it will scrap its network of over-the-counter (OTC) parcel pick-ups and drop-offs (PUDO), replacing them with automated parcel lockers, which it says will offer improved convenience and efficiency.

In early May, InPost contacted UK stores currently providing OTC services, asking them to consider installing InPost lockers instead.

InPost launches UK’s first nationwide next-day locker delivery service with ASOS

InPost’s UK network now comprises over 10,000 automated parcel machines (APMs) and nearly 13,000 out-of-home (OOH) delivery points. Alongside newly acquired Yodel PUDO services, InPost now manages more than 16,000 touchpoints across the UK.

The company’s growth has been largely driven by the continued shift towards locker-to-locker deliveries and returns. Strategic retail partnerships—including those with ASOS and Adanola—have also supported its expansion.

Rafał Brzoska, founder and chief executive of InPost Group, said: “In the UK, the impact of B2C offer expansion is already visible in our volume, and this will become even clearer going forward, thanks to the acquisition of Yodel. We are proud to be the leading pan-European locker network and we are continuing our rapid expansion.

“We are also strengthening our relationships with merchants. This week, we launched a partnership with ASOS, offering exclusive next-day delivery to lockers and PUDO points in the UK. Recently, we announced a multi-year contract with Vinted, Europe’s leading marketplace for second-hand fashion.”

Brzoska added that InPost’s strategic moves leave the company well positioned to continue growth and progress towards becoming the “number one e-commerce logistics provider in Europe”.
