Vimto Out of Home is set to become the UK and Irish distributor of frozen soft drinks brand Slush Puppie.
The supplier has signed a long-term agreement with Slush Puppie’s US owner, J&J Snack Foods Corp, which gives it the rights to manufacture, manage, distribute and sell Slush Puppie across the UK, Ireland, and Europe.
Slush machine trend attracts major brands
This deal will see the brand undergo a relaunch, which Vimto Out of Home said is currently in a planning stage, meaning there is no immediate change to retailers who currently have a Slush Puppie machine.

Frozen Brothers silent on slush machine failures
Dan Fachner, president and CEO at J&J Snack Foods Corp, said: “Given their track record of success within the frozen category, we know Vimto Out of Home is very well positioned to take the Slush Puppie brand to the next level in this market.”
Vimto Out of Home’s other frozen offerings include Icee, Starslush, Slurp Ice Cream Shakes, and Froozee Fruit Juice Slush.
