Vape Dinner Lady suffers factory fire

Some customers may experience interruption

Vape supplier Dinner Lady has assured retailers business is “continuing as usual”, following a fire at its manufacturing site. 

The fire took place at Shadsworth Business Park in Blackburn on 11 September. 

A statement from the company stated that “the majority of customers will not experience any change to their scheduled orders”, but that some may experience interruption. 

Dinner Lady promised to “work with those affected to ensure any disruption is mitigated efficiently”. 

Production has been moved to other facilities. However, the company’s online store was temporarily closed. It added that no one was hurt in the fire, “thanks to the actions of our headquarters team and the local fire and emergency rescue teams”. 

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
