Parcel firm UPS is warning its retailers to stay vigilant after an “unauthorised driver” was spotted stealing parcels from one of its sites last week.
In a message sent to partnered stores, and seen by Better Retailing, the firm confirmed “a person pretending to be a UPS driver has attended an Access Point and cleared out all UPS packages”.
When asked by Better Retailing how the firm was supporting the affected retailer, a UPS spokesperson said: “The safety and security of our network is our priority. These incidents are rare.”
