Snappy Shopper is partnering with more EPoS companies and planning regular sales promotions to improve its grocery delivery service for retailers and their customers.
Speaking to betterRetailing, the company’s head of trade marketing, Dael Links, said Snappy Shopper was looking to replicate the success of its EPoS integration with Co-op group ScotMid in independent shops.
The scheme cut delivery times by 29% by removing order scanning at the till.
The marketing boss said it caused an increase in sales and delivery capacity, while also reducing staff time preparing orders and amending price files.
