One Stop told to expect regular age-test purchases

Multi-site One Stop retailer Dee Sedani described the move as 'positive'

One Stop franchisees are to receive regular test purchasing on age-restricted sales.

Initially conducted in the convenience chain’s company-owned stores, several One Stop franchisees confirmed to Better Retailing the testing would be rolled out to its independent estate.

Communication sent to stores said they would receive test purchasing every three months covering vapes, alcohol and tobacco.

Failure of the test purchasing would lead to a training plan developed with business development managers.

Multi-site One Stop retailer Dee Sedani described the move as “positive”.
