Current National Lottery terminal provider International Game Technology (IGT) wants a major payout from new operator Allwyn before assisting with the replacement of store terminals, according to the Financial Times.
Better Retailing understands Allwyn hopes to modernise terminals in stores by replacing the current 15-year-old Altura devices.
However, the FT claims preparations for the switch are to take six months and are yet to begin, in part due to a dispute with IGT.
