Symbol group Select & Save has expanded outside of England into Swansea.
The company’s managing director Andrew King told Better Retailing it had added seven stores in Wales, following positive word of mouth among retailers in the country. Select and Save previously only had a presence in England, with the majority of stores based in the Midlands.

“We get one out on a limb and we do a reasonable job,” said King. “Suddenly we get a recommendation and suddenly here we are seven stores later. Yes, we are expanding into Wales.”
