Amazon is to open one of its first Fresh stores outside of London, in Sevenoaks, Kent.
A job listing for a retail associate posted last month said: “Our client has recently launched the first convenience grocery store to offer Just Walk Out (JWO) technology in the UK.”
JWO technology enables customers in Fresh stores to take items from shelves and leave the store without using a checkout, with the transaction being taken from their bank account later.
