“I’ve got a 3,200sq ft store and it was always a challenge to get enough products from my local cash and carry – I’d end up with 10 lines of one product just to make the store look full. But with One Stop, I can choose from a very large range of products.
“They’ve particularly helped with my fresh and chilled range, hugely boosting the variety I offer. Previously, when I was with a different symbol group, I was going through 40 or 50 cases of fresh and chilled a week; now I go through 400 cases – sales have increased tenfold.
“One Stop-brand ready meals are selling very well; fresh fruit and vegetables are really popular, too – they’re great quality, just like Tesco. Over the next year, we’re going to focus on growing food to go. We installed a Stacked sandwich bar on 9 December. I plan to use social media, especially Facebook, to try to drive sales.”
