CCEP commits to doubling chillers in convenience stores this year

The investment comes amid plans to double the number of field sales visits this year to 750,000.

Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) has committed to nearly doubling the amount of chillers it provides to independent retailers this year.

The plans will also include replacing or upgrading existing equipment in a convenience store with more energy efficient alternatives.

CCEP’s investment comes as it has promised to double the number of field sales visits to convenience stores, restaurants and bars this year to more than 750,000.

Gary Black, CCEP sales director of wholesale and convenience, said: “The support includes advice on stocking a broader portfolio of soft drink brands and formats including low and no-sugar variants.

Retailers will also be able to add suggested products in real-time to their next delivery while a CCEP representative is in their store.
