Cadbury has unveiled a mural at Mepal Post Office & Stores in East Cambridgeshire to celebrate the winners of its 2023 ‘Big Win Win’ competition.
Customer Sheila Thompson nominated store owner Gurdip Jatana in the competition, with both receiving cash prizes as joint winners. The initiative celebrates the relationship between customers and local shopkeepers by inviting shoppers to nominate their favourite retailer.
The mural, painted on Jatana’s store, depicts the two winners and highlights the shop’s role in the local community.

“To be recognised for my work in the Mepal community over the years is a fantastic feeling,” Jatana said. “We love building relationships with our customers, and it’s great to see that brought to life on the side of our store.
“The Cadbury Big Win Win is a competition that really brings retailers and shoppers together, and I would encourage every retailer to remind their customers what they could win.”
Now in its third year, the Big Win Win is live until 6 July and offers £50,000 worth of prizes for both independent and symbol group retailers, as well as their customers. There are 100 opportunities for retailers to win, with 25 prizes of £1,000, 25 of £500, and 50 of £250.
