Soft drinks brand Trip has announced the launch of a new limited-edition flavour called Trip Wild Strawberry, now available to convenience retailers.

Trip Wild Strawberry combines flavours of sweet wild strawberry with tangy grape and sage. It’s also infused with Magnesium, Chamomile, Lion’s Mane and Lemon Balm, botanicals known for their stress-reducing, mood-boosting benefits, said the supplier.

The launch also includes an on-pack promotion to mark the brand’s partnership with Calm, a mental health app designed to manage stress. Shoppers will be able to get three months of free Calm Premium subscription, by scanning a code on the pack of the new flavour. The promotion is available on individual cans of Trip Wild Strawberry, as well as part of a meal deal.

Olivia Ferdi, Trip co-founder said: “The meal deal is a national ritual — we saw a chance to meet people where they already are, and offer them something genuinely helpful for their mental health. It’s a small change to your lunch break with a potentially massive impact on your mind.”
