Mars Wrigley has unveiled Skittles Citrus, a mix of five fruit flavours: Orange, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, and Blood Orange.

Rolling out nationwide this month, the new variety is expected to drive sales this summer, and is its first launch since last year’s Giants Gooey.

The supplier hopes it can attract new shoppers to the brand looking for new flavours while also attracting trial from loyal Skittles shoppers.

To support the launch, Skittles is conducting a summer campaign to reinforce how impulse-driven the category is ahead of social gatherings during summer.
