Republic Technologies UK has launched the Smarter vaping product range, which it claims is the first with no mesh coil pod system.

At launch, the pod-system range consists of the Smarter Mini (RRP £9.99), which provides up to 800 puffs per replaceable pod, and the Smarter 6K (RRP £12.99), which allows for up to 6,000 puffs per refill, with a 2ml + 10ml rechargeable tank.

Both products conform to changes in the UK legislation covering disposable vapes, with the Smarter Mini incorporating a replaceable, longer-lasting ceramic coil (as opposed to a mesh coil) which sits outside the pod.

The two devices are launching alongside 12 pod varieties based on the most popular flavours, according to consumer research. These include Strawberry Ice and Cool Mint.

The supplier is supporting the launch with a range of in-store PoS, including display units, wobblers, tent cards, flyers and posters.
