Pladis is expanding its Flipz coated pretzels brand with the launch of a limited-edition Strawberry Cheesecake variety.
The new variety comes as the brand is worth £17.3m and has grown by 27.7% in retail in the past year. It is available now from Co-op Wholesale with wider convenience and wholesale availability set for July.
“Popular with snacking customers seeking inspiration, Flipz performs particularly well in Impulse, recording double digit value and volume growth of 21% and 18% respectively,” said Pladis UK&I brand manager Char Wilkinson.

To support the new launch and wider Flipz range, Pladis is bringing back its ‘Grab a Grand’ on-pack promotion for the third year in a row from 25 August.
Running for 12 weeks, it gives shoppers the chance to win £1,000 each week of the promotion. To enter, they need to buy a participating pack and scan its QR code. Every two entries generates a third free entry, encouraging repeat purchases.
Flipz is driving additional visibility for the Grab a Grand on-pack promotion with PoS and in-store displays.. “Last year the campaign period delivered +37% retail sales value compared to 2023,” said Wilkinson.
