Siobhan Molloy, Christmas national account manager at Empire Bespoke Foods said: “We experienced a 36% rise in Christmas orders last year which underlines just how important this opportunity is to independent retailers.
“We know consumers are especially keen to experiment with new and unusual food and drink items during the festive period, either at home with friends or family, or to give as gifts; so what better way to become your customers’ store of festive choice than by stocking some of Europe’s most popular and best-selling Christmas products? By planning ahead, retailers are able to create some truly beautiful displays which actively help drive footfall and increase basket spend at this busy time of year.”
