Cadbury launches Creme Egg competition for retailers

Retailers who show off their most innovative Creme Egg displays have the chance of winning a top prize of £1,000 in vouchers, with 29 runner-up rewards also available

Cadbury is launching a Creme Egg competition for retailers in the run-up to Easter 2025, asking shopkeepers: ‘How do you display yours?’

The competition invites retailers to share their most innovative and eye-catching Creme Egg displays via a form on the supplier’s SnackDisplay.co.uk website.

Entrants will have a chance to a a first prize of £1,000 worth of vouchers, with four runner-up prizes ranging from £250 to £500 vouchers and 25 x £25 vouchers up for grabs for the remaining winners.

According to supplier Mondelez International, 3.7 Creme Egg packs are sold every second. Additionally, last year’s Creme Egg tablet sold 4.6 million units nationwide, making it the number one new launch of Easter 2024.

Carianne Robertson, brand executive for Cadbury Creme Egg, said, “We’re really excited to be taking the annual ‘How Do You Eat Yours?’ campaign to a platform that retailers can engage with directly. Given the enthusiasm towards ‘How Do You Eat Yours?’ we wanted to create an opportunity for retailers to capitalise on consumer engagement, with the addition of 30 prizes to give further support and thanks to the retailers who have supported Cadbury throughout its 200-year history.”
