The day hell ran down on us from above

As I’m starting to near the age at which I begin to claim my state pension, I decided to take a look at my deferred pension from WHSmith.

This involved a visit to the WHSmith website and it’s helpful ‘members’ section.

While on the site I was struck by some of the coverage that they have reproduced to commemorate the recent anniversary of the end of World War 1. The published articles that talk of the effect that the war had on their employees at the time.
