Most retailers stop selling calendars and diaries in January, but customers can move house or start businesses throughout the year and still need them. When wholesalers discount them to half price, we snap them up and sell them at full price, getting far bigger margins. We bought 400 A4 diaries for £1.30 each and sold them for £5.99.
