Booker will launch two spring festivals for symbol retailers: the Wine Festival from 28 April and the Beer and Cider Festival from 19 May.
The festivals will be available across Premier, Londis, Family Shopper and Budgens and will feature a selection of drinks alongside exclusive deals and new product launches, enabling retailers to increase sales while offering value to their consumers.
The Wine Festival which runs for three weeks will feature around 170 lines including brands such as La Vieille Ferme and I Heart Prosecco, along with new product launches and expanded ranges. Retailers will also benefit from exclusive promotions, discounted multipacks and strong margins on key lines.
Booker sales drop amid focus on value
Meanwhile, the Beer Festival which runs for eight weeks will include brands such as Peroni, Stella, Corona, Leffe, Strongbow, Kopparberg and Thatchers. Special deals will also extend across a variety of premium drinks with multipack bundles for brands like like Cruzcampo, Heineken, Madri, San Miguel, and 1664 Bierre.
Premier and Family Shopper retailers will offer over 200 lines across lager, ale, craft, cider and premium drinks, including regional brands. There will also be additions for Booker’s symbol group customers such as Brewdog Orange Crush.
Retailers will also receive promotional support including additional leaflets.
Colm Johnson, Booker’s retail managing director, said: “These events are a great opportunity for retailers to offer exclusive deals, boost sales, and introduce consumers to new favourites.”
