Bestway Retail provides update on Costcutter supply arrangements

The company confirmed it would announce the new plans at the "earliest practical opportunity"

Bestway Retail has provided an update on its future supply arrangements for Costcutter retailers at its Retail Showcase 2025.

The event, which took place on 15 May, was attended by hundreds of Costcutter retailers.

The company confirmed it would announce the new plans at the “earliest practical opportunity” as it works through the final stages of the process. These plans have been communicated to retailers via email.

This update follows confirmation two months ago that Costcutter stores would experience disruption at the start of 2026, when Nisa confirmed it would cease supplying fresh, chilled, and own-label products to the Bestway-controlled symbol group.

Bestway also revealed that a market analysis is underway to create a supply partnership that is “future-focused” and tailored to the specific needs of Costcutter retailers.

The company added that its aim is to deliver an improved offer, while also enhancing ease of doing business, improving efficiency, and raising service levels.

Dawood Pervez, managing director of Bestway Wholesale said: “We are excited about the opportunities ahead and remain fully focused on ensuring the best possible outcome for all our retailers.

“Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to sharing more details with you soon.”
