National Lottery operator Allwyn has announced that retailers can expect a 125% sales increase ahead of the £202m EuroMillions jackpot draw on 28 March.
To support the draw, Allwyn has rushed out ‘Over £200m’ posters to tens of thousands of stores ahead of tonight’s 7:30pm purchase cut-off. The campaign is also being supported on in-store media screens and through above-the-line advertising, including in newspapers and on radio.
If one UK ticket holder wins the jackpot, they will instantly become the UK’s biggest-ever National Lottery winner.

Karl Southworth, Allwyn’s head of field sales, said the draw presents “significant sales and footfall opportunities” for National Lottery retailers.
He added: “With it also being Mother’s Day weekend, it presents a great talking point to get customers thinking about all the extravagant ways they could treat their mum or the special women in their lives if they suddenly woke up as the UK’s biggest-ever winner.
“As always, by selling National Lottery tickets, our retail partners aren’t just giving their customers the chance to win big or boosting their bottom lines. They’re also helping to raise more than £30m a week for National Lottery-funded good causes – so it really is a win-win.”
