One Stop opens its 100th store

One Stop has officially opened its 100th store after a full refit since the franchise was rolled out 15 months ago.

The 100th store is called The Prior Way and is owned by Vip & Jo Measuria. Located in Borrowash, Derby, the 1,800sq ft store serves the main estate and is complemented by a nearby fish and chip shop, which is also owned by the couple.

It offers PayPoint, Lottery, free-to-use ATM and Collect Plus services, as well as a selection of chilled, frozen and ambient ranges, an off-licence, meal deals and a variety of promotions.

100 stores and 5 million“We’re really excited to have the distinction of being One Stop Franchise’s 100th store.  We’ve been trading with One Stop since late June, so our sales have already increased thanks to the new ranges and deals being phased in,” said Vip.

To celebrate its re-opening, The Prior Way held a launch party last Saturday under the theme of “100 stores and counting”, which also raised funds for the Derby County Community Trust.

The opening marks One Stop’s investment in the independent sector reaching £5m since it launched its pilot in March 2013.
