The inaugural Local Shop Summit that took place earlier this month had an impressive list of suppliers giving practical advice to retailers on how they can improve their sales and customer service. Newtrade Publishing has received lots of great feedback from retailers since the event including Steve Barker who said the session was first class, and that “if there were any retailers in that audience who couldn’t take at least one thing from the session that would improve their business, then they don’t deserve to be in retailing!” As a result of it, he said, he will be making a lot changes to his store, including a complete overhaul of his shop layout.
