Vipul Pabari – Connaught Road PO & Supermarket
IAA Award winner for customer service, Vipul Pabari knows how to take care of his customers. With competition from other post offices in mind he tries to offer a personal service, listening to his customers needs, to ensure their loyalty.
“Our customers appreciate the fact that we have two counters, so when we are busy they don’t have to wait too long. There is a nearby Post Office in town but we try to provide a very personal service to our customers, ensuring they are happily served. If we don’t have an item in stock we make a note of it and try to get it for them.
“We also have a free ATM machine, which 600 customers a week use and is the only one locally. Many of our elderly customers have expressed appreciation for the machine, because it provides a measure of security when they withdraw money inside the shop.
“Additionally we sell a range of Fairtrade products and support local charities from five donation boxes, which collect between £1,200 and £1,500 a year.”
