betterRetailing had its first public outing at Birmingham’s NFRN Conference this week. It was great to meet the dozens of retailers who came to our stand.
Some of you were already using betterRetailing, completely engaged with the Internet and full of great ideas. Others were new to our site and yet to harness the full potential of the web for your business.
All of you however realised that enterprising retailers will be spending more time online exploiting opportunities to make profit and sharing ideas with each other.
betterRetailing is here to help you with both of these objectives. Do comment on any of the blogs or other features on the site, and if you want to share a great idea and generate some feedback click here.

My congratulations to your new website & business model.
It was great talking to all of you at the NFRN Conference & I would like to add that I found Nick’s article in here & his speech at the conference with reference to the article on “how the outside of the shop says about your business” thought provoking & informative.
So, three cheers to Nick & the team.
Best wishes to you.

Hi Kamal
Thanks for visiting the site – I’m really glad to hear you’re finding it interesting.
I hope you’ve managed to have a look around at all the different parts of the site: you can see inside your peers’ shops in See My Shop (http://www.betterretailing.com/see-my-shop), get best-practice advice on all facets of retailing in the Academy (http://www.betterretailing.com/academy-in-action) and of course stay up to date with all the views on the news with the betterRetailing blog.
And don’t forget that if anything on the site provokes a response, tell us about in the comments box on every page!
Looking forward to seeing you again soon!

The commercial presentations at the Conference on tuesday were excellent and very productive and profitble for energising retailers with lots of opportunities by comapnies like Bookers, Newtrade, Imperial Tobacco and Camelot. In addition there were various exhibitors including of course Newtrade with a very dedicated team and how nice to see the interest of so many retailers in “betterretailing”.
It is a site for you hardworking retailers to communicate, keep in touch, learn new ideas and lot more. Use it.
